WorkSource increases learner engagement by 35% with a more efficient learning and communications platform

WorkSource is a federally funded one-stop career system in Washington state that coordinates employment and training services across a consortium of non-profits, education and government agencies. It previously tracked training manually and struggled to share opportunities and resources and to communicate efficiently across multiple stakeholder groups, creating data and coordination bottlenecks.

Working with Totara partner Synegen, WorkSource launched the “Learning Exchange” on Totara Learn to centralize training and internal communications. The LMS manages e-learning (SCORM, videos, quizzes), seminar attendance, and shared resources as an intranet; about 500 learners now use the platform and registered staff accounts rose 35%, enabling system-wide communications without extra tools and reducing manual processes while improving knowledge transfer.
