What almost a decade of Totara Learn has brought Cello

Cello, a care organization supporting people with disabilities, needed a more user-friendly and affordable learning platform to replace its cumbersome online learning system. Using Totara Learn via Courseware, Cello wanted a solution with better accessibility, stronger reporting, and room to support the development of its 2,700 employees, trainees, and volunteers.

Totara helped Cello redesign and optimize its learning environment with a new Totara Learn LMS centered on staff and volunteer needs, including a modern interface, personalized care programs, and themed toolboxes. The result was a dedicated volunteer dashboard launched in 2023, with 25% of volunteers already using Totara Learn, plus less administrative work through self-service registration and fewer upgrade tasks after moving to Totara’s SaaS version.
