Wassenburg Medical Goes Digital to Streamline Staff Training Worldwide

Wassenburg Medical, a rapidly growing Dutch manufacturer of endoscope cleaning and disinfection solutions with offices and distributors across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Africa, needed a better way to train and track its dispersed engineers and account managers. The existing process relied on local classroom sessions and a restricted database that created heavy administrative work, left employees unable to view their training status, and made global onboarding and updates difficult to manage.

Wassenburg implemented Totara Learn, now used by about 200 staff across 35 countries, to deliver classroom registration, online modules, exams and certification tracking; they create courseware with Articulate 360 and are rolling out multilingual content. The centralized LMS eliminated the admin blind spots, streamlined onboarding, made training visible and accessible to all, and achieved full field certification—transforming the team from a national to a global training operation.
