Wahoo Learning, a specialist training provider since 1997 serving 50,000 users across 100 countries in 16 languages, needed a more flexible way to sell and deliver its copper, fibre and wireless eLearning. They wanted a platform that could be client‑brandable or Wahoo‑branded, support individual course purchases, improve reporting and engagement, and include bespoke features such as a global administrator hierarchy and voucher management.
BuildEmpire implemented Totara Learn as a future‑proof LMS and built custom features on top: a complex admin hierarchy with global managers and seat allocation, gamification (certificates and badges), custom reporting, a bespoke course catalog integrated with eCommerce and flexible voucher/discount functionality, plus a CMS plugin so site content can be managed within Totara. The result is a scalable, brandable, self‑service platform with automated payments and powerful reporting that supports global delivery and ongoing development without being tied to a single developer.
