Volta Simplifies Its Course Registration Process for Thousands of Electrician Organizations

Volta is the Belgian sector organization for electricians, representing about 5,000 companies and 36,000 employees, and offers trainings, workshops and advisory services to its members. Their challenge was a cumbersome, manual registration process for e-learnings and classroom courses: website sign-ups required L&D admins to perform multiple database entries, so Volta needed a flexible LMS that could manage both digital and in-person training, track results, and integrate with existing systems.

Neo Learning implemented Totara Learn and used its API to connect the website, Volta’s ERP and the LMS, automating user approval and course enrollment while keeping each platform focused on its strengths. The integration greatly reduced manual work, enabled one-click reports that combine learning, user and invoice data, and has already attracted 700+ active users with more to come; future plans include automating classroom session registration and adding further platform connections.
