The Electrical Distributors’ Association (EDA) needed a seamless way to distribute its digitized product training, manage assessments, and control grading across its membership. After converting 12 training modules into SCORM packages, the EDA worked with Totara and Cortexa to support the move from paper-based workbooks to a more scalable digital process.

Totara, via Cortexa’s custom cross-platform setup and CTX Remote plugin, synchronized access between the EDA LMS and members’ Totara systems so content could be tracked locally while exams remained on the EDA platform. The result was rapid adoption and strong compliance: since launch in late 2023, the switch to e-learning reached over 95% conversion, with more than 200 books ordered and started in digital format.
