Tyres4U achieve ISO9001 recording standards while delivering critical training to distributed international businesses

Tyres4U is a family‑owned tyre distributor operating across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea with over 50 sites and roughly 1,800 internal and external learners. The business needed to deliver consistent compliance and safe‑working training (including sales and product training) to a dispersed workforce, provide managers with visibility of team learning, produce robust records to satisfy ISO9001 requirements, and offer simple navigation and powerful reporting while scaling with the organisation.

Working with Catalyst IT, Tyres4U implemented a branded Totara LMS (launched February 2012) to create the Tyres4U Training Academy. The platform enabled cost‑effective online and bespoke customer training, automatic enrolment by business unit, manager monitoring and customizable reporting—delivering reliable compliance records for ISO9001, easier learner access, and added value training services for clients.
