Tourism New Zealand, the organisation behind the 100% Pure New Zealand campaign, needed a single global platform to deliver its Specialist Programme to travel sellers across 26 markets in eight languages. The programme had to be easy to use, let learners track their own progress, and give trade managers real‑time visibility of learner performance and KPI achievement across multiple markets.
By upgrading and heavily customising a Totara Learn site (externally hosted by Synapsys and integrated with Tourism New Zealand’s website and data services), the organisation implemented 185 audiences, over 50 dashboards and 100 certifications to support multilingual, market‑specific learning. The platform has delivered training to all 26 markets, enabled managers to approve training and track performance via dashboards, and supported more than 250,000 course completions and over 6,000 trained agents — materially improving global trade training delivery.
