The organisation and implementation of Totara Learn at ZONL

Zorggroep Oude en Nieuwe Land (ZONL) is the largest healthcare provider and employer in the Dutch municipalities of Noordoostpolder, Urk and Steenwijkerland, with about 1,600 staff and over 1,000 volunteers. ZONL wanted to better support employee development and track progress, so after proof-of-concepts they selected Totara Learn as the most user-friendly learning management system.

Totara partner Atrivision implemented a branded Totara Learn platform, automatically integrating HR, organization and job data, adding single sign-on, role-based automatic course assignment, self-enrolment, e‑learning monitoring, migrated classroom courses and competency reporting. Launched in the first half of 2017, the LMS is in active use, has simplified course administration, improved visibility for managers and received very positive feedback from staff.
