The NSW Police Force needed to replace its outdated enterprise LMS, “iLEARN,” because it could no longer support modern training needs such as learning anytime, anywhere, and on any device. To meet its People & Capability Command goals, the NSW Police Force sought a broader digital learning solution, and Totara was used through its partner Androgogic alongside LMS, LCMS, mobile learning, social, and instructional design capabilities.

Totara helped the NSW Police Force implement a secure, blended learning environment with virtual classrooms, mobile access, virtual reality, gamification, and automated testing and enrolment. The results included reduced manual administration, faster online marking with results available within 10 days, 24/7 access to training, and support for mandatory compliance, promotions, and operational readiness across 22,288 staff, including critical training delivery during Operation WORLDPRIDE 2023.
