The Law Society of NSW Achieves Doubles Its Annual Learner Engagement Target Within Just Two Months

The Law Society of NSW, the statutory professional body representing more than 29,000 solicitors in New South Wales, faced fragmented learning systems—more than seven platforms—that provided poor, unreliable data, no single view of members’ CPD progress, no e‑learning capability and limited responsiveness across devices. Seeking a secure, functionally rich learning solution integrated with e‑commerce and payment, the Society engaged Totara partner Androgogic to consolidate learning, assessments and CPD tracking into one platform.

Androgogic implemented Totara Learn in about three months, using audience-based access, role security, a branded responsive interface and an integrated CPD tracker and e‑commerce flow. The result was rapid adoption—8,000 users in two months against a 12‑month target of 4,000—minimal support issues at launch, positive stakeholder feedback and a cultural shift from multiple legacy systems to a single, flexible, cost‑effective LMS used across the organisation.
