The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) is the Commonwealth agency responsible for maritime safety, environmental protection and search-and-rescue services across Australia. With 21 offices nationwide and a dispersed workforce, AMSA relied increasingly on e-learning but was held back by an outdated LMS that required costly manual processes, didn’t integrate with new HR/payroll systems, and couldn’t scale to meet growing internal and external training needs.
