Ten Brinke Group is a 115‑year‑old international construction and development company with more than 850 employees across Europe. Confronted with high industry failure costs (around 8% of turnover) and only about 1% of staff receiving structured training, the company needed a scalable way to upskill employees and reduce costly mistakes.
They launched the Ten Brinke Academy, developing in‑house e‑learning with Articulate Storyline and partnering with The Courseware Company, then implemented Totara Learn as their LMS to deliver, track and report training in multiple languages. Using blended learning (online technical modules and offline soft‑skill sessions) they increased structured training coverage from 1% to 72% of employees, cut travel and delivery costs, improved flexibility and are now exploring features like forums to strengthen ongoing knowledge sharing.
