Tech Partnership Delivers Digital Skills Training to Thousands of Students Across the UK

The Tech Partnership, a UK employer network aiming to deliver the skills for a million tech jobs by 2025, needed an online learning platform to reach diverse, geographically dispersed young people and equip them with the digital skills for future careers. Their challenge was to create an engaging, easy-to-manage hub that schools, teachers and students could access and use at scale.

Working with Totara partner Accipio, they built Totara Learn to host content for all UK schools (each added as an organisation), enable teachers to track progress, and award employer‑sponsored badges through a badge academy. The system includes social sign‑in, visual completion wheels and a drag‑and‑drop page builder for easy administration. The platform now includes over 10,000 schools, 3,000+ active learners, strong user feedback, cost savings and a greatly extended reach, becoming a core part of the Partnership’s strategy.

The Tech Partnership
