Stiftung Kinder forschen leverages Totara LMS to promote young talent

Stiftung Kinder forschen, the non-profit foundation focused on early STEM and sustainability education, needed to replace its outdated LMS with a modern learning platform that would expand course offerings, simplify enrolment, and reduce administration effort. The new system also had to support scalable growth, migrate more than 60,000 user profiles, and connect with Salesforce for more targeted course communication.

Totara delivered the new Learning Hub using Totara Learn and Totara Engage, with Solr search, a learner dashboard, API-based content sharing, and Salesforce integration. The result was a more intuitive, community-driven campus that supports online courses, webinars, and blended learning; since launch, nearly 20,000 learners have used the platform, around 1,000 new professionals register each month, and course completions reached 13,276 by the end of the launch year.
