Securitas Aviation Managers Take a Blended Approach to Sharpen Their Technological Knowledge Worldwide

Securitas Aviation, a specialized division of the Securitas Group active in 29 countries and 200 airports with 24,000 employees, launched the Aviation 2020 and beyond program to prepare for major industry disruption. They selected small groups of country, branch and project managers as program ambassadors but struggled to give all participants the same foundational knowledge and to enable collaboration across time zones and geographies.

Totara partner Neo Learning designed a blended learning solution: a three-part program combining a customized, interactive LMS dashboard that maps five airport journeys, coached online courses, in-person classroom sessions managed via Totara, and remote collaboration tools (BigBlueButton, moderated forums like “Ask the Expert” and “Ask the Coach”) for group business-case development. The first cohort completed the program to strong acclaim — an international jury named it Securitas Aviation’s best global program — and participant teams are now piloting their cases locally to drive organization-wide innovation.
