Remploy, the UK’s leading provider of disability employment services, needed a more flexible, cost‑effective way to develop colleagues across different locations and learning styles. They sought a one‑stop digital platform to deliver blended and self‑directed learning, track and report progress, share expertise, reduce duplicated effort, automate compliance, and provide 24/7 access to training.
Working with TDM, Remploy implemented Totara Learn as the Remploy Academy, leveraging features like interactive content, grouped programmes, manager authorisation, audience enrolment, certifications and external learning records. Since launching, the LMS has driven strong early adoption—730 unique users in six months, 59 courses and more than 1,400 completions (equivalent to 116 day courses)—automated compliance refresher reminders and face‑to‑face bookings, reduced administrative workload, cut costs, increased engagement and enabled colleagues to manage their own development.
