Remondis, a global recycling, industrial services and water treatment company with more than 30,000 employees at 800 locations, needed a more cost‑efficient, centralized way to deliver and oversee compliance training across multiple countries and industries. Rising headcount and the expense of trainers travelling to workshops made scalable, delegated management essential.

Synergy Learning implemented a Totara Learn LMS using multi‑tenancy and custom plugins to automate enrolment, approvals and SAP QM integration, plus localized reporting and a bespoke user experience. The solution gave local learning managers (across 23 German sites and locations in Poland and the Netherlands) appropriate control while HQ retains oversight, cut travel and workshop costs, supported 16,200 course completions to date, and centralized compliance and HR reporting as the company grows.
