Region Zealand Uses Totara Learn to Introduce a New EPJ System to 13,000 Healthcare Professionals

Region Sjælland, a Danish public health system of 14 hospitals serving nearly one million people, needed to train about 13,400 healthcare professionals to use a new EPIC EPR under strict vendor training standards and a tight timeline. The scale and complexity—thousands of course sign-ups, role-based competency plans, and a high expected rate of rebooking—meant the region required a new LMS solution to manage logistics, sequencing and compliance.

Dossier Solutions implemented Totara Learn integrated with Dossier CRMS and, with Xtractor, built a Rebooking Interface plus SMS notifications so admins and managers could handle complex course dependencies, conflicts and last-minute changes. The rollout completed on time, improving administrative efficiency and tracking; to date the platform has supported roughly 300,000 course completions (including ~80,000 seminar events, ~259,000 e-learning courses and 25,000 programmes), and significantly streamlined the region’s training program.
