Pyramind uses Totara LMS to manage a complicated schedule of 24 courses at a time

Pyramind, a San Francisco institute for music production, audio engineering and DJing, runs year‑long programmes and individual classes both on campus and online. Facing complex scheduling needs—up to 24 concurrent classes, about 34 students per enrolment, and as many as 1,000 users a year—Pyramind found their existing Moodle setup and support partner unable to handle frequent changes, flexible customization and the detailed calendar management required for staggered, overlapping course iterations.

They upgraded to Totara Learn with partner Envisiontel, gaining an open‑source, customizable platform and a powerful calendar for managing delayed or repeated modules, tracking individual progress toward certificates, and sending schedule updates. The change made administration of complex schedules much easier, improved the learner UI and real‑time communication, and delivered better hosting and support than their prior Moodle provider.
