Prioritised and personalised learning delivered to Motor Sports Association users everywhere

The Motor Sports Association (MSA) is the UK’s sole national governing body for four‑wheel motorsport, representing some 30,000 licence holders, 9,500 volunteer marshals and around 750 affiliated clubs. Faced with the need to deliver consistent, high-quality training to volunteer marshals nationwide, the MSA required an online, responsive LMS that integrated with its existing database, provided personalised member areas, supported robust weekly/monthly/yearly reporting, and scaled to support events and certifications.

Synergy Learning implemented a Totara Learn solution—providing hosting, integration with the MSA database, a brand-aligned responsive theme, administrator and course-creator training, and ongoing premium support. The platform delivered rapid uptake (almost 4,000 subscribers in the first 18 weeks) and, to date, nearly 5,000 fully accredited Rally and Cross Country marshals, enabling reliable certification and streamlined reporting for key events.
