PepsiCo, the global food and beverage company, needed a way to deliver induction and sales training to more than 15,000 frontline salespeople across regions with poor internet access and many local languages. Working with Totara, PepsiCo looked for a flexible learning platform that could support mobile, offline, and localized training at scale.
Totara implemented Totara Learn with dominKnow’s offline app and Kineo’s integration expertise to create a seamless, mobile-first learning experience. The result was a major reduction in training time and cost: induction in the UK was cut from 10 days to 5, and PepsiCo more than doubled the number of courses run in 2017, with over 40,000 courses delivered through the platform and another 40,000 through the app in the first eight months.
