OpenJaw unlocks global learning with Totara Learn, their first-ever LMS

Openjaw, a Dublin‑based provider of the t‑Retail travel retailing platform with offices in Ireland, Poland, Spain, Hong Kong and China, needed a more efficient way to onboard and cross‑train internal staff around the world. Having never used an LMS before, they sought a technology solution to complement face‑to‑face training and, on the recommendation of the Courts Service of Ireland, engaged Totara partner Enovation to implement Totara Learn.

Enovation helped Openjaw create e‑learning courses (built with Camtasia and grouped as “Openjaw University”) and deploy them in Totara Learn, chosen for its open‑source flexibility, integration capabilities, hierarchies and reporting, and role‑based assignment of learning. Since going live in July 2017, about 300 employees across multiple countries use the system, cutting international training travel and costs, enabling scalable onboarding after the company’s acquisition, and opening possibilities to extend the platform enterprise‑wide and to customers.
