New Zealand's Ministry of Justice increases LMS usage by 100% with THRIVE platform

New Zealand’s Ministry of Justice, which delivers court and tribunal services and employs over 3,500 people across 103 locations, needed a learning platform that delivered a consistent, custom-branded experience across devices, supported blended onboarding, handled high traffic and custom plug-ins, integrated with HR systems, and streamlined reporting so employees received learning relevant to their roles.

They implemented Totara Learn 2.7 as THRIVE, a responsive, branded LMS with HRIS integration that auto-provisions accounts, places users into role-based audiences, and offers powerful reporting for leaders. Since its July 2015 launch, usage has more than doubled, nearly 80% of staff have accessed the platform (64% returning for multiple courses), feedback has been very positive, training silos have been reduced, and business groups are actively promoting and tailoring learning.
