A Totara Case Study
Max Burgers, a family-owned Swedish hamburger chain founded in 1968 with over 100 restaurants and 4,000 employees, needed a fast, consistent onboarding process to bring many young hires up to speed on company values, food-hygiene and safety compliance, and role-specific skills from day one. The challenge was delivering blended learning that combined e-learning with practical kitchen training and made compliance and leadership development visible and manageable for managers.
Max adopted Totara Learn (first for leadership development in 2014, then fully in 2015) to deliver blended programs, e-learning, assignments, forums, quizzes and company-wide certifications, and to give managers detailed reporting. In less than 18 months the platform supported over 45,000 course completions, more than 100 learning activities, centralized certifications and organization-wide analytics, while paving the way for improved mobile responsiveness and a more social, user-friendly learning experience.
