MAN Energy Solutions SE, a global supplier of large engines, turbo machines and power plants with about 14,400 employees at 100+ sites, needed to move its MAN PrimeServ after‑sales academy training (13 academies) online. The company sought a single LMS to serve both customers and staff worldwide — including offline access for ship crews — while simplifying sales of training packages, meeting international compliance requirements and reducing administrative overhead.

MAN ES implemented Totara Learn with Arrabiata leading UX, integrations and rollout, including SSO, OAuth-based customer authentication, automated user imports, voucher-based course sales and time‑controlled compliance learning paths with reporting and escalations. The platform initially served 3,000 learners (now 5,000+), is scalable to 30,000, cut internal admin effort, enabled easy global distribution of paid courses and provides secure, instant access for external users.
