LFoundry chooses Totara as main employee training and development platform

LFoundry, a leading specialized foundry in Italy, needed a more compliant and engaging way to manage mandatory training for employees who operate complex machinery. After starting its e-learning journey with Moodle, the company chose Totara Learn as its main employee training and development platform to better connect training with HR processes and replace an outdated HRMS and appraisal system.

Totara helped LFoundry organize training paths, automate machine-access controls through web services, and issue compliance certifications, while also supporting audience groups and skills-based course assignments. As a result, LFoundry can track technical staff training in real time, regulate machinery availability more efficiently, and continue replacing legacy systems; today, around 1,800 users access about 4,300 active courses on Totara Learn, with Totara Perform and Totara Engage being added to unify the full talent experience.
