Lentis launches a digital learning environment for the entire organisation with the LMS, Totara Learn

Lentis is a Dutch healthcare organisation providing mental health, forensic and elderly care across Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe, with thousands of staff supporting over 25,000 clients annually. Facing the need to make learning accessible organisation‑wide, strengthen talent and career development, and reduce training time and overheads, Lentis sought a modern LMS and chose Totara partner Atrivision after their existing system proved unsupported.

Following a successful pilot, Lentis launched lentisleren.nl on Totara Learn in 2014, populating the platform with a 100+ course e‑library, HR system integration and Totara features for course planning, competencies, training plans, reporting and social learning. The rollout modernised their learning experience, put learning ownership with employees, enabled blended learning, consolidated development data in one place, and resulted in thousands of staff registering and actively using the platform—especially across elderly care.
