LCI-UK’s blended learning program saves construction sector over £20m

The Lean Construction Institute UK (LCI-UK) needed a way to scale its industry-endorsed Lean construction training programme, track learner progress, and capture the benefits of improvement projects across the supply chain. It worked with Totara partner Accipio to bring the blended learning vision to life using Totara Learn, combining workshops, eLearning, competency pathways, and project tracking.

Totara, implemented by Accipio, delivered a tailored learning platform with bespoke features for qualifications, coaching, case studies, and benefits realisation. The solution has already helped generate £5.3m in savings toward a £20m target, alongside carbon reductions and improved supply chain lead times, while also issuing hundreds of badges and supporting broader industry upskilling.
