LaSer UK upgrades from Moodle to Totara Learn to save time with learning administration

LaSer UK, part of the LaSer Group and owned by BNP Paribas Personal Finance, is a mid-sized financial services firm with over 800 employees that manages four million UK customers for more than 200 organisations. They outgrew their Moodle LMS: SCORM limitations, lack of hierarchical controls and weak reporting meant managers couldn’t target learning, pull granular reports or let users easily give feedback.

Working with Learning Pool to upgrade from Moodle to Totara Learn gave LaSer configurable programmes, competencies and organisational hierarchies, plus real-time, targeted reporting. The change let managers create and edit content themselves, apply assessment filters to identify and redirect learners to extra training, and cut report-preparation time by about two hours per report, enabling smarter, more efficient learning administration.
