Korps Mariniers delivers a modern blended learning program with Totara Learn

Korps Mariniers, the Netherlands Marine Corps, needed a modern blended learning environment to support professional training, online and face-to-face learning, and continuous development across its units. Working with Totara and its partner UP learning, the Corps looked to expand digital learning beyond a Moodle LMS used for newcomers and better serve different learner groups anywhere and anytime.

Totara implemented Totara Learn as the new learning platform, enabling targeted e-learning delivery through audiences, online exams, and improved support for simulation-based training, VR, and AR. The result was a more efficient and standardized learning approach, with nearly 1,000 active users, more than 3,100 e-learning course completions across 64 courses, and 543 hours spent on e-learning, saving training time and allowing more classroom time for practical instruction.
