Katoen Natie’s CG&I business unit improves learning and performance management

Katoen Natie’s Consumer Goods & Industry (CG&I) business unit needed a better way to manage learning and employee performance as its workforce grew. Previously, training records were tracked in spreadsheets and evaluations were done on paper, creating heavy admin work and making reporting difficult. To address this, Katoen Natie chose Totara, working with Deloitte to support the rollout.

Totara implemented Totara Learn and Totara Perform, along with multitenancy to fit Katoen Natie’s site-based structure and privacy needs. The result was a streamlined, automated Talent Experience Platform that tracks training, competency development, coaching, and feedback for 5,500 employees, reducing administrative burden and helping ensure compliance; the success was strong enough that other Katoen Natie business units also began Totara implementations.
