A Totara Case Study

Preview of the Hotter Shoes Case Study

Hotter takes the next steps in its learning strategy for 700 retail employees

Hotter Comfort Concept Shoes, founded in 1959 and now the UK’s largest shoe manufacturer with over 700 retail staff across 76 outlets, needed a way to deliver consistent, high-quality training to every location. They required clear induction modules for new starters, easy-to-use software for all staff, and reporting so line managers could track their teams’ progress.

Webanywhere, a Totara Platinum partner, implemented a custom-themed Totara Learn platform, provided course-design consultancy, built an induction/onboarding course and set up reporting hierarchies for managers. The solution — branded internally as “Next Steps” — has been rolled out across the retail estate with strong feedback, praised project management support, and is now being extended to 150 contact-centre staff.
