Headspace improves learner engagement with Totara LMS

Headspace Cairns, part of the wider headspace network, needed a better way to train and engage its geographically dispersed workforce while supporting an evidence-based model of care. Its existing LMS had poor usability, weak search, no social features, limited mobile access, and delays that caused high drop-off between enrolment and course completion. Totara Learn was chosen to help solve these issues.

Totara implemented Totara Learn with Kineo’s Social Wave extensions, delivering a more user-friendly, responsive learning platform with social learning features, improved search, role-based learning paths, reporting dashboards, and faster enrolment. The new system increased learner engagement dramatically, with a 458% rise in course completions since launch, and more than 492 staff enrolled in headspace learning.
