Ferranti empowers learning administrators to delegate tasks for smoother learning processes

Ferranti Computer Systems, based in Antwerp, helps organisations improve business performance through IT consultancy, system development and managed services, with particular expertise in MECOMS for utilities. Facing an outdated LMS, Ferranti needed a self-service learning platform that let employees independently access courses to build soft and technical skills and product knowledge, while making seminar management intuitive and cutting administrative overhead.

Working with Deloitte, Ferranti upgraded to Totara Learn 9 and integrated it with Talmundo onboarding and role-based learning programmes. The redesigned, branded platform added single sign-on, easy course registration and trainer-uploaded content, significantly reducing admin work. Since the September 2017 upgrade there are 370 active users with plans to add 60–100 partners and customers, making the LMS central to Ferranti’s knowledge-sharing strategy.
