A Totara Case Study
The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), a global nonprofit that advances reproductive medicine through research, education and accreditation, depended on large annual meetings and workshops to train professionals. When COVID‑19 halted in‑person events, the society’s outdated e-learning platform — hard for learners to navigate and too restrictive for admins — left ESHRE unable to meet rising demand for advanced digital learning.
Working with Deloitte, ESHRE implemented Totara Learn following workshops, prototypes and agile sprints to build personalized home filters, catalogs, learner personas and gamification tied to CPD/CME credits. The new eCampus delivers diverse content (videos, courses, quizzes, live webinars), enhanced reporting, streamed conference pages with chat and restored admin control — enabling scalable, flexible post‑pandemic education and stronger learner engagement.
