Emirates Health Services - Customer Case Study

Emirates Health Services (EHS), a large UAE healthcare provider with more than 11,500 employees across hospitals and clinics, needed a sustainable way to align individual learning with organizational goals, serve a highly diverse and distributed workforce, and keep pace with rapidly changing medical knowledge. Working with vendor Totara and its Totara Learn platform, EHS set out to build a flexible, scalable learning environment called Maharati.

Totara helped EHS implement personalized learning, mobile and browser access, knowledge repositories, engagement features, and competency frameworks tailored to EHS needs. The result was more than 700 eLearning courses, 28 knowledge repositories, over 2 million contact training hours, and user satisfaction above 90%; the program also generated over $5 million in savings and enabled fast rollout of critical training such as Sotrovimab during COVID-19.
