Deloitte launches a high-end onboarding journey for their Major Programmes practitioners with Totara

Deloitte UK, one of the firm’s largest member firms, needed an engaging digital onboarding and capability development journey for its Major Programmes practitioners. The goal was to help a diverse audience quickly understand the offering’s values, ways of working, and project types, while also tracking comprehension and compliance. Deloitte chose Totara, with support from Deloitte Belgium, to deliver a scalable learning experience.

Totara helped Deloitte build a hybrid onboarding journey with online modules, in-person workshops, snackable content, mobile access, reflection logs, automated reminders, and analytics. The program launched in April 2022 and, in its first 12 months, more than 500 practitioners completed it with 85% satisfaction; another 250 had signed up by summer 2024. Totara’s platform also enabled the rollout to the Netherlands, Belgium, the US, and the Middle East, while supporting stronger client conversations and new sales opportunities.
