Dairy Crest, a leading British food producer, needed a better way to deliver training after a major restructure. Their legacy learning content was difficult to use and poorly adopted, so L&D sought a learning portal that was easy to roll out, configurable to their brand and needs, and able to serve all employees from production-line staff to managers.

They selected Learning Pool’s Totara Learn‑based "My Development" portal, customised content with Adapt Builder and licensed Foundation Skills and ILM catalogues. The site now hosts 50 courses (including induction, health & safety and management topics), 90% of employees have accessed at least one course, administration has been reduced through an automated HR feed, and L&D can quickly create new, tailored modules to support blended learning.
