CILEx Law School, part of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, provides affordable, distance-based legal training to around 4,000 students and an increasing number of apprentices. To better support its apprenticeship model and blended learning programmes, the School needed a new LMS that offered flexible programme management, improved course reporting and a lower total cost of ownership.

After a market review CILEx implemented Learning Pool’s Totara Learn, enabling enhanced programme creation, synchronization with its Microsoft Dynamics CRM, employer visibility of apprentice progress and seven-day access to customer success. The platform has improved learner engagement and support, ensures optimal performance with ongoing technical support, and creates opportunities to expand into responsive content and AI-driven learning recommendations.
