IDIADA, a global automotive engineering and testing partner, was struggling with a mostly classroom-based, reactive training model and no true LMS to support strategic reskilling. As the industry evolved toward hydrogen, AI, and electric vehicles, the company needed a flexible learning platform to centralize training, expand internal knowledge sharing, and support both technical and soft skills development. Totara was selected, with Actua providing strategic consulting and implementation support.
Totara helped IDIADA launch the IDIADA Learning Hub in November 2023, creating a centralized training ecosystem with standardized policies, automated learning pathways, and tools for notifications, seminars, certifications, and reporting. The impact has been strong: more than 2,205 courses completed, 1,944 users logged in, over 500 people trained in recurring monthly learning, and more than 1,400 employees trained through 25+ internal courses. Totara also enabled faster compliance reporting, Fundae bonus data collection, and a performance management process through Totara Perform.
