Like‑Minded built Aka Toi — a customised Totara Learn experience focused on assessment and competencies with features such as converse activities, marker blocks, a new branded theme and bespoke reporting. The result was stronger assessor workflows, richer learning resources, lower admin costs and measurable gains: weekly logins rose 50% (2,000→3,500), assessment submissions increased 80%, assessments viewed/started grew ~40% (4,000→7,000 viewed; 500→800 started), monthly module completions more than doubled, and document/record-keeping administration fell by 66%.
