Bas Truck Center Leverages the Power and Versatility of Totara Learn

BAS Truck Center, one of the largest truck and company car dealers in the Netherlands, replaced its dealer management system in January 2017. Because the DMS touches every department—from administration to mechanics—the company needed a single, centrally managed way to train all employees consistently and keep everyone up to date while retaining control over learning content.

Working with The Courseware Company, BAS implemented Totara Learn to create the BAS Academy: a branded LMS delivering e‑learning, simulations, classroom courses, onboarding programs and a training agenda. The solution sped the DMS rollout, reduced ad‑hoc calls between staff (salespeople can access technical courses instead of interrupting mechanics), improved tracking of employee development, generated positive user feedback, and is being expanded holding‑wide with ongoing content and search improvements.
