A Totara Case Study

Preview of the Bally Case Study

Bally offers personalised, localised learning to engage 86% of its workforce in 5 months

Bally, a Swiss luxury brand with a global retail network of stores and wholesale channels, needed a modern, on-brand learning experience for retail and head office staff to maintain high-quality, consistent training as it expanded worldwide. The company wanted a user-friendly, mobile-responsive platform that supported localized languages and delivered targeted content for different job roles while preserving tracking and reporting functionality.

Bally selected Totara partner MediaTouch to build a fully customized Bally Portal with a clean, branded interface, multilingual support, role-based Audiences and Hierarchies for tailored content and manager reporting, and gated access that unlocks learning paths after completing core brand training. Launched in June 2016, the portal engaged over 1,300 active users—about 86% of employees—within five months, earned high user satisfaction for usability and branding, and was built with plugin-based customizations to support easy future enhancements.
