ASA Maximises Learners' Access to Offline Content With Totara LMS

The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), a 50,000‑member professional association, needed to simplify and centralize complex, state- and specialty‑specific certification requirements for anesthesiologists. Because members work long hospital shifts with restricted networks and poor mobile signal, ASA required an LMS that could deliver offline-capable mobile content, enforce full progression and continuing education credit rules, and avoid duplicate course creation and administration.

Working with Totara Learn and Totara Platinum Partner Synegen, ASA implemented a flexible LMS with hierarchies, learning plans, compliance/audit trails and a single course-creation workflow; learners can download courses when online, complete videos, audio and quizzes offline, then sync results to earn certifications.
