Aegon Romania offers product training to 4,500 salespeople across the country with Totara Learn

Aegon Romania, a major life insurance and private pensions provider, needed to ensure distributors met a legal certification requirement and to deliver product training to 4,500 salespeople nationwide. Their existing LMS was outdated and not user‑friendly, and face‑to‑face training was too costly and logistically impractical.

Totara Partner Nosco implemented Totara Learn as a single branded platform linking e‑learning and classroom scheduling, replacing Outlook-based planning and adding quizzes for certification, voting, and robust reporting. Launched in January 2018, the system now supports 100 internal users and 4,500 external sellers, giving Aegon compliant, scalable training and better visibility of learner progress, with plans to expand into community learning (daily micro‑questions, forums and wikis).
