PIC Group, a specialist provider of technical consulting, training and operations support for power generation facilities worldwide, needed to modernize a mostly in‑person, paper‑and‑spreadsheet training system. Working with Totara partner Tech Transfer, PIC moved to Totara Learn (launched 2013, rolled out 2014), using its certification workflows, automated resets/reminders, face‑to‑face booking and custom reporting to manage complex, position‑based programs. The intuitive, branded portal now serves about 400 users, delivers tailored certificates per sub‑organisation, archives records for reporting/printing, and has achieved a 90% year‑to‑year retention rate.
