TriTed Innovations Inc., a 15–20 person Ontario-based designer and manufacturer of robotic cells and custom automation, needed an ERP built for engineer-to-order work when founders Mehrdad Tufani and Miro Pantic launched the company in 2008. Having previously seen other systems fail to match ETO processes, TriTed selected Total ETO’s material resource planning/ERP solution to replace Excel-based tracking and support the complexities of custom design manufacturing.

Total ETO implemented an integrated ETO system—featuring a “hold and release” BOM workflow with color-coded tagging, a Crystal Reports engine with 200+ pre-built reports, and real-time data entry across departments—to eliminate the engineering-to-purchasing bottleneck, improve communication, and reduce errors. As a result, TriTed saw increased efficiency, lower administrative costs (“the software pays for itself”), and has grown from a startup into a mid-sized ETO company servicing North America using Total ETO.
