Advanced Dynamics, a St. Bruno, Quebec-based maker of custom heavy‑duty material handling systems, faced poor communication between departments, duplicate data entry, and slow engineer‑to‑order BOM processes that caused purchasing delays and wasted time. To solve these issues the company selected Total ETO’s ERP/material resource planning ETO software.

Total ETO implemented a single integrated system with dynamic BOM hold-and-release, seamless CAD integration (custom Autodesk Inventor add‑in and later SolidWorks), and one central database. The result was streamlined BOM and purchasing workflows, elimination of double data entry, significantly improved interdepartmental communication, faster production and job tracking with pricing accuracy, and adoption across Advanced Dynamics’ Quebec operations and its new India plant—helping the company grow its local and international competitiveness.
