A Tosca Case Study

Preview of the Ollie Case Study

Ollie reduces packaging waste by 9,210 trees with Tosca

Ollie, a premium pet food brand, was scaling its operations and faced significant challenges with its single-use corrugated master cases. The packaging generated large amounts of waste, created labor inefficiencies in fulfillment centers, and limited airflow in freezers, hindering temperature performance. Seeking a more sustainable and efficient system, Ollie partnered with the reusable packaging vendor Tosca.

Tosca implemented its reusable plastic containers (RPCs) for Ollie's supply chain. The ventilated containers improved cold air circulation, while their durable, standardized design streamlined handling and improved workplace safety. By switching to this reusable model, Ollie dramatically reduced waste, saving the equivalent of 9,210 trees. Tosca managed the seamless transition, working closely with Ollie's upstream vendors to ensure a successful integration.
